Zeop will create two data centers

The Reunion operator Zeop (Océindie group) announced on April 15 the creation of two data centers in Reunion, at the Port and on the Saint-Denis technology park, in the next two years. The infrastructures will be open to all companies wishing to store their data or that of their customers there.. With the very high speed guaranteed by the Metiss cable, of which he is co-owner and which was put into service in March, Zeop wants to make Réunion a global digital hub, like Marseille. The Goulamaly family group is working on the construction of a new submarine fiber optic cable., connecting Réunion to India. The project is open to investors who would like to get involved alongside Océinde and Nassir Goulamaly, Group CEO, also wishes to raise public awareness, local and national : submarine cables and secure data storage are indeed becoming issues of national sovereignty. Zeop has also changed its mind. Last April 8, Xavier Hermesse ceded his chair as general manager to Xavier Joseph, from the Véolia group. Xavier Hermesse joins the Parisian management of the Océinde group, to the functions of director of HR transformation and development for all activities, in mainland France and the Indian Ocean.
