Ximiti has developed a tailor-made concept of refrigerated vending machine to adapt, even locally, on demand and new modes of consumption. A mix of e-commerce and automated local commerce.
Ximiti is a brand of the Neovendis group which, since 2017, markets its concept of local automatic store for the general public. Patented and manufactured in France with industrial technologies and components, the machine and its management interfaces are at the cutting edge of technology. Ximiti has no shortage of arguments to promote its concept. Consumption patterns are changing and shaping the distribution landscape. The customer wants to consume more efficiently. Digital adoption by consumers has accelerated and the French feel more and more comfortable making purchases online. The format of local stores is increasingly attractive to consumers, but in all the towns and villages of France, grocery stores and greengrocers are becoming rarer, hence the appearance of automatic oyster stores, meat, of pizzas, fruits and vegetables or even farm products. The vending machine market in France today represents 1,200 companies, 640,000 distributors, a deal of 2,2 billion euros.

Installation is turnkey. The manager is free to choose his product ranges. The software offer is a complete management interface with no options. Through this digital interface, the manager manages his product catalog, its stocks and orders, but also receives major events on your smartphone in real time. Remote control saves the manager valuable time. Time saving which allows a rapid return on investment, notably thanks to the absence of payroll and the automated management of the point of sale reducing daily fixed costs. The involvement of licensee Ximiti remains limited. Ximiti stores are available in two formats : the independent store or commercial premises integrated into an existing building. Multiple locations may suit them : shopping streets, shopping centers, stations-service, airport, université, hospitals, campsites… They are open continuously, at any time of the day or night.

How did you come up with the idea of creating the Ximiti concept? ?
We are seeing the arrival of new professions in distribution, like drives for example. Ximiti stores respond to real consumer demand : immediacy and increasingly large time slots. It is from this observation that Ximiti was born.
Is the automatic warehouse the future of commerce? ?
It will indeed become, partially, as is already the case in certain Asian and American countries which are working on the concept. We have technology made in France that allows us to do this, just deploy it.
Are the prices higher than in a traditional grocery store? ?
Prices are the same, or even cheaper for certain types of products. Indeed, operating costs are reduced compared to traditional grocery stores.
