This decision to postpone, taken in consultation with inter-professional partners, is once again dictated by the current health context. “Everything is ready for February 2022 and we will now start working on making Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris an even more central event for this business hub to actively participate in economic recovery. First step, a digital month of June with key business events on Vinexposium Connect, and a physical meeting given in Paris from February 14 to 16, 2022”, underlines Rodolphe Lameyse, general director of Vinexposium.
Concretely Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris goes digital to nevertheless support business and exchanges in 2021. Which results in a connection with B to B meetings between producers and buyers begins on the Vinexposium Connect platform, and a business-oriented digital content program, deployed throughout the month of June to allow wine and spirits professionals to remain interconnected through specific meetings. All Wine Paris partners & Vinexpo Paris are mobilized to share insights useful to all : l’Institut The IWSR, the International Sommellerie Association (BUT), the Union of French Sommellerie (UDSF) or La Wine Tech & Vinocamp.
Three days are specifically dedicated to the territorial and international issues of today and tomorrow, the 14, June 15 and 16 around the theme “Bounce back”. Each day will address the questions we ask ourselves in the present and future, whether from the point of view of geopolitics, distribution networks or that of wine and spirits producers.
Vinexposium.Connect, a booming digital program
Vinexposium.Connect was launched in October 2020 on the occasion of Vinexpo Shanghai goes digital. The platform immediately benefited from great attractiveness among the international Vinexposium community.. With an audience composed equally of professionals from Asia and in particular from China, from Europe and America, the success of this digital edition demonstrated the reach of online content.
