On September 16, Semto launched its long-term rental offer for electrically assisted bicycles., called Mobi’Ouest. The 125 VAEs can be rented monthly or quarterly, for a maximum period of twelve months, at very attractive prices : from 25 euros per month for holders of a Kar’Ouest subscription card, the intercommunal bus network also managed by Semto. The offer was immediately successful with residents of the municipalities of the West Coast Territory and the waiting list is already growing to come and take possession of their bike at home Mobi'Ouest, near the Saint-Paul bus station, on the Chaussée Royale. The park should grow quickly : 115 electrically assisted mountain bikes and 300 additional bikes are announced for the first half of 2022. From October, Semto will also install bicycle racks on 6 buses on the Kar Ouest lines, as an experiment, to encourage intermodal journeys. In the coming months, around a hundred parking hoops will be installed, new Mobi’Ouest agencies will open their doors and new cycle routes will be created by the TCO.
