In 2018, the University of Reunion, Crédit Agricole de La Réunion-Mayotte and Village by CA Réunion carried out a strategic and operational merger of their activities with the aim of promoting the professional integration of students from the only French and European university in the Indian Ocean region.. September 5, in the presence of Frédéric Miranville, university president, by Didier Grand, general manager of the regional bank of Crédit Agricole, et d’Elisabeth Peguillan, general director of the Village by CA Réunion, the three entities have renewed and amplified the partnership that unites them for three years. The parties thus intend to work together to improve the future of the region's youth.. Three priority areas of common interest have been targeted. The development of orientation, training and professional integration through internships, alternation campaigns, organisation de jobs dating. Promoting research, l’innovation, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit through support for researchers, the promotion of innovations in the form of start-ups, awareness of entrepreneurship. The fight against student insecurity by consolidating the solidarity grocery store, by expanding the shared garden on the Moufia campus and creating a solidarity shop in the form of a food truck for students from the South.
