Nathalie Cazal is operations director of the local public company Sources et Eaux, manager of the distribution of drinking water for the commune of Petite-Île.
“To secure the distribution of drinking water, we need to set up a reliable network for the regulation of automation and remote management between all our reservoirs. We needed fiber to replace the existing PSTN telephone lines which were failing due to the fact that they were no longer maintained.. This project is fundamental for us. We first interviewed two major telecommunications companies, who told us that half of our sites could not be connected and that setting up such a network would be very complicated and very long. We sought the expertise of a company specializing in connections, Particle Plus., who assured us of the opposite : all our sites were perfectly connectable. She then directed us to Canal+ Business of which she is a subcontractor partner.. So, what was impossible has become possible with Canal+Business. We can therefore only be satisfied with our relationship with Canal+ Business. In total, twelve sites will be interconnected. Two left to fiber, and the distribution of drinking water in Petite-Île will be secure. »
