Avec Aquasolo Outdoor, the French watering specialist Hozelock brings an ancestral irrigation method up to date.
Hozelock offers a range of ollas (“pots” in Spanish), these microporous terracotta pots which allow slow and progressive irrigation of plants, at root level. For gardeners, followers of permaculture or all those who wish to garden and water responsibly, this method allows you to save water and water your vegetable garden or plants in an ecological and autonomous way. These terracotta pots buried in the ground limit the evaporation of water. They maintain soil that is always moist in depth and regular irrigation at root level.. Two ranges : Traditional jar-shaped pot, available in 0,5L and 5L (vegetable garden format) You are not an expert, cylindrical in shape, available in 1,5L and 5L. The plants do not undergo water stress and benefit from good root development. Thanks to this irrigation technique, weeds grow less, because they do not benefit from surface watering and the plants are less exposed to diseases that develop with humidity on the leaves. The Olla ranges save more than 50% water compared to surface watering.. Depending on the capacity of the pot, watering autonomy can be up to eight days.
A water level indicator
Made in Europe (France and Portugal), the Olla Aquasolo Outdoor ranges stand out, Nowadays, by their clever water indicator system (patent pending). This is a float made of a cork stopper and a colored wooden stem. It allows you to visualize the water level, without opening the Olla : when the pot is full, the rod springs, and when it is empty, the rod is depressed.
