The very first measure of territorial continuity decided within the framework of the Interministerial Committee for Overseas Territories (Image) of July 2023 came into force at the end of November : an additional return trip covered for students and trainees during the southern summer holidays.
The “Passport for study mobility” already allows young people to benefit from a round trip as part of their studies or internships per year. Coverage of an additional trip by Ladom, the Overseas Agency for Mobility, a permis aux étudiants de retrouver leur famille ou d’effectuer un stage pendant les congés. Ladom verra ses missions renforcées en 2024, et son public bénéficiaire élargi, un certain nombre de mesures décidées lors du Comité interministériel des Outre-mer concernant la continuité territoriale.
