Tropicana is committed to the entire life cycle of its products

Tropicana is working alongside distributors to restore consumer confidence with three strong initiatives on the life cycle of its products.

The initial observation, it’s the degraded perception of the juice aisle. It was time to act for Pepsico. Its flagship brand Tropicana is implementing three initiatives from 2021. First, 100% of oranges will be Rain Forest Alliance certified (RFA), a label that guarantees agriculture that respects people and the planet, with better remuneration for farmers who are committed to sustainable agriculture. Second initiative, in 2021 the brand is committed to 100% of the PET 1 range,5L, which will be made from recycled PET (R-PET) to reduce environmental impact. In 2023, the entire range will be packaged in 100% R-PET. Finally Tropicana is committed to supporting French production : 75% of Tropicana bottles will be bottled in the North of France

Educate the consumer
Get involved, It's good, but the brand considers that it also has to play a role in educating the consumer. This is why these different initiatives will be relayed on the packs (read by nearly 75% of Tropicana consumers today) in order to inform and raise awareness of the ambient juice consumer about this entire process. This educational work began in 2020 by explaining why Pure Jus is the type of juice closest to fruit.. In 2021 the brand will go a step further by explaining the meaning of environmental labels and involving them in recycling logic..

Bio Tropicana gets a makeover
Tropicana's organic range is reinventing itself to become the most responsible in the fruit juice section. Eco-designed and fully recyclable, the new beverage cartons in the organic range are based on plant-based materials. Their container goes from 75 cl to 85 cl. The first four flavors will be offered in these new packaging from May : Orange without pulp, Apple, Carrot-Orange-Lemon (ACE) and Mandarin-Orange-Grape.

Un Multifruits Tropical 1,5L gourmand et familial
Tropicana Multifruits (pineapple, mangoes, passion) is the second favorite perfume of families. Complementary to the Multivitamin offer, Multifruit Tropical is aimed at adults by providing a functional benefit of vitality. With 100% pressed fruit, no added sugar, the new fruitier and more delicious recipe is offered in packaging 1,5L to please the whole family. Launching in April 2021.

 

 

Apple-based duos
Apple Pear, Apple Mango : two new apple-based mixtures accessible for the whole family. Apple is the third favorite flavor of families (13% of purchases). This first range of simple apple-based mixtures will please young and old alike.. Launching in April 2021

The 25 cl bottle has a new look
The new Tropicana 25 cl bottle is more transparent, contains more fruit, and is also more responsible (100% recyclable with already 25% recycled PET). In 2021, the 25 cl PET offer, which also exists in Orange and Apple, is enriched with the brand new Multifruits Tropical to replace the Multifruits 25 cl. otherwise, another novelty, Tropicana Multifruits is suitable for CHR in 20 cl format in VP, the ideal juice solution for table catering. Orange, Apple and Tomato completes the existing 20 cl range.
