Tezi Tea, the second exclusive brand of Brasseries de Bourbon

Launched in 2018, the Tezi Tea range of iced teas was first produced in the Netherlands before fully becoming Nou la fé in 2021.

The growing market for iced teas, the search for a third growth lever after beer and sodas, skills available internally and enthusiasm to spare : the Tezi Tea range of iced teas is a pure product of Brasseries de Bourbon. To imagine it, a special team bringing together the main operational functions of the company, from marketing to logistics, including research and development and production, was based on a consumer survey identifying the expectations of Reunion iced tea lovers. Result : a tastier tea and a sugar level 30% lower than the average product on the market. Launched with six references, the Tezi Tea range was first manufactured in the Netherlands within the Heineken group. Before launching local production, Brasseries de Bourbon wanted to test the product with consumers. The brand rose to second place in the market, with very good results in supermarkets. This test period also made it possible to refine the offer, narrowed down on the four most requested references. A family format of 1,5 L came to complement the small individual format of 50 cl and the packaging has evolved to make the product more visible. Tezi Tea is now well established in its market.
