Orange and SFR are in the lead, Zeop is progressing, Free stays behind : these are the main lessons from the latest annual survey on the performance of overseas mobile telephone networks conducted by Arcep, the Electronic Communications Regulatory Authority, posts and press distribution.
SFR and Orange come out on top in the vast majority of indicators. “On voice calls and text messages, Zeop progresses and places third, summarizes Arcep. Telco OI (Free) presents good performance on mobile internet uses, but remains behind in the rankings”.
Arcep was able to study for the first time, in the meeting, the performance of 5G networks. If the flow rates are indeed better, notably at Orange, “other mobile internet indicators (web page loading time, watching videos…) present results comparable to those measured in 4G”, tempers the telecommunications policeman.
