The number of files filed with the Reunion overindebtedness commission in 2022 is thus down slightly to 1,176 (-2 %) compared to the previous year. It represents 51% of all files submitted in overseas Departments and Regions. The redeposit rate is still at a very good level, to 26% in 2022 compared to 43% at the national level. Personal recovery rate (cancellation of debts) reached 43% compared to 47% in 2021 (41% nationally).
