Organized by the Village by CA Réunion, this unique event in the region brought together a panel of entrepreneurs on October 3, of investors, innovation players and community representatives, in the presence of investors and fundraising specialists from mainland France. Six start-ups have landed interviews with investors in the coming weeks.
Alexis Robert of Kima Ventures, Alexandre Jenny from OVNI Capital, Dimitri Kremp d’Axeleo Capital, Benoit Sola de Elevation Capital Partners, Léa Evrard of the LEV cabinet, Stéphane Poupault of Smalt Capital and Stéphanie Delestre, investor-jury of the show Who wants to be my partner ? on M6. The Invest Day Réunion allowed six start-ups accelerated by the Village by CA Réunion to present their activities to these seven representatives of investment funds who knew almost nothing about the Reunion ecosystem before their arrival : Duke, MyAssetRocks, Feelbat, Leon guide, Educ-up et Noula. Mission accomplished. Interviews are already scheduled in the coming weeks between investors and start-ups. A practical workshop was led by the LEV firm, offering Village by CA start-ups advice on successful fundraising.
Meeting (alongside Xavier Delos, director of
markets and flows of Crédit Agricole La Réunion-Mayotte), is at the origin of this initiative.
Reunionese innovation in full light
Other highlights were three round tables open to the public, which made it possible to address the challenges of innovation and investment in the territory, in Overseas and mainland France. Also broadcast live on LinkedIn, they sparked numerous interactions. The initiatives of the Réunion Region in favor of innovation and economic development of the territory were also the subject of a presentation. Around a hundred people in person and more than 160 people on LinkedIn live participated in this event.
