The French expert specializing in maintenance products for the home and garden is launching three products with new bio-sourced formulas to restore the beauty of exterior wood.
Starwax is evolving its formulas to treat wood while reducing the use of resins of synthetic origin. The composition of saturator resins and wood oils is now biosourced. It comes from renewable organic material, here of plant origin. Starwax notably integrates soybean vegetable oil into its resins, while maintaining their effectiveness. These products made in France can be found in DIY stores and garden centers
THE HIGH PROTECTION SATURATOR FOR WOODEN DECK
It protects and deeply nourishes the wood fibers of terraces. Its biosourced resin enriched with tung oil prevents European wood from drying out, exotic and teak while letting them breathe. RENOVATING OIL FOR GRAYED FURNITURE Acacia, black locust, eucalyptus, teak… Designed in France, this 2 in 1 biosourced oil nourishes, Retains and revives the shine of wooden garden furniture grayed by external aggressions. Its practical format of 0,75 cl allows you to treat garden furniture, since two layers are enough. Its little extra : fast drying and no solvent odor. PROTECTIVE OIL FOR GARDEN FURNITURE
This oil formulated with biosourced resin deeply nourishes garden furniture made of exotic or European wood. Starwax was founded in Lille in 1946 by Guy and Roger Brunel, two visionary and complementary brothers. The first studied chemistry, the second of business studies. After the Second World War, they began manufacturing a wax for wood maintenance. It is in homage to the America that liberated them that they decided to name their brand Starwax (the star of waxes). Furniture modern, decoration and maintenance then appear in households, and the French home maintenance brand supports this evolution during the Trente Glorieuses. Remained anchored in the north of France for more than seventy-five years, Starwax employs nearly 150 people in Noyelles-lès-Seclin, near Lille, within its scientific laboratory and factory. It produces a wide range of specialist home and garden maintenance products under three brands. : Starwax, Starwax The Fabulous et Starwax Soluvert. Alongside the Ecotree company, Starwax is committed to sustainable forest management. In 2021 more than two thousand trees were planted in a Creuse forest. In 2022 Starwax supports Ecotree in the restoration of a wetland in Brittany. The company is now part of the Altaïr group., also owner of the Briochin and Harris brands, which brings together 450 employees in 2022.
