Shenaz Zadvat elected entrepreneur of the year by L’Eco austral

Shenaz Zadwat, at the head of the office furniture company Offital, was elected “entrepreneur of the year” by the regional economic monthly L’Éco austral, September 21. She received from the hands of Alain Foulon, founder and director of the magazine, le Tecoma Award, 25th of the name. This distinction, created in 1996, had not been awarded since the health crisis. The panel of companies formed by L’Éco austral to elect the entrepreneur of the year had the choice between four nominees. Shenaz Zadwat, besides the Tecoma Award, was also awarded the CSR prize, rewarding diligent societal commitment over many years. The vice-president of MEDEF is also active within the Entreprendre pour savoir association., which supports young people in setting up mini-businesses, and within the Club des Audacieuses, which encourages female entrepreneurship. The other three nominees also received awards : that of innovation for Nicolas Schmutz in the company Réuniwatt, based in Saint-Pierre but also in Paris and Toulouse, which has developed world-class digital tools for forecasting sunshine and cloudiness ; that of dynamism outside for Arnauld Boulard, founder of Gao Shan Pictures, animation studio which contributes to French excellence in the field. And that of progression for Pierre-Jacques Surjus (Bourbon Composites, in Saint-Benoît), swimming pool hull manufacturer who is working in parallel to create an organic septic tank model.
