Sharp expands its 8K display ecosystem with a 120-inch ultra-high resolution monitor designed for professional use.

This is a new 120-inch 8K LCD display with UV²A technology, and intended for professional use : the 8M-B120C. This new large format monitor has the largest dimensions on the market. It is specially designed to deliver unrivaled detail and realistic image quality.. This makes it ideally suited for professional environments requiring high clarity and precision.. The Sharp 8M-B120C screen is equipped with a 4 m² LCD panel with 33 million pixels. Its resolution is therefore four times higher than that of a 4K ultra HD screen, and 16 times more than that of a Full HD screen. The monitor reproduces images with a resolution higher than that of the human eye, which has significant benefits for a growing number of businesses wanting to display content in great detail and with pinpoint accuracy. This is particularly the case for organizations in the broadcasting sectors., design and medicine, as well as environments using large volumes of data and subject to high pressure, like air traffic control or even trading rooms.

An extensive range
This 8K screen offers this image quality thanks to an extended color gamut and optimized LED backlighting. HDR technology (High Dynamic Range) gives more depth to the image by increasing contrast and color gamut, thus creating a more saturated and natural result. The screen offers a brightness of 600 cd/m² (1000 cd/m² maximum brightness), as well as up to 2048 local dimming zones (variation locale), for high contrast. For video processing, the 8M-B120C uses dual frame technology with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, i.e. 120 frames per second, or twice as fast as most contemporary displays (60 Hz). This technology reduces motion blur caused by rapid movements., which makes action scenes more realistic. Finally the four HDMI2 ports.0 4K allows you to receive a stable 8K signal or take advantage of split-screen mode (2×2). In addition, thanks to an HDMI2.1 port, users can connect the monitor to devices using a single cable, and benefit from bandwidth of up to 48 Gbits/s.
