The IMF gives a good rating
The Seychelles economy continued its recovery in 2023, said the head of an International Monetary Fund delegation visiting the archipelago in early April. The country's gross domestic product increased by 3,2% last year, tourist arrivals have reached a level equivalent to 91% of that before the pandemic and tourism revenues continue to increase, noted the representatives of the IMF. According to the funder, Seychelles' economic outlook is generally positive, but the country remains very vulnerable to external shocks and climate change and must continue its efforts to reduce public debt.
