Club Med inaugurated
Club Med Seychelles was inaugurated on April 21 on the island of Sainte-Anne., after two years of work, in the presence of the President of the Republic Wavel Ramkalawan and the president of the French group Henri Giscard d’Estaing. The 5-star establishment was created in place of the former Beachcomber Sainte-Anne and offers 295 rooms. Its entry into service is a reassuring signal for the country, which has reopened its borders to tourists and relies heavily on revenue from the sector. Other hotel projects are in progress. The Hilton Mango House Seychelles is due to open its doors on July 1 in Anse Poules Bleues (Mahe).
