Clear recovery in tourist numbers
Seychelles tourism officials estimate that the country will welcome nearly 260,000 visitors in 2022, i.e. almost two thirds of the number of tourists recorded in 2019 (428 000), which was a record. End of July, Seychelles had already recorded nearly 183,000 tourist arrivals, i.e. as much as for the whole of 2021 during which the resumption of activity began, essential for the archipelago.
