Association aiming to encourage vocations among young girls in careers in industrial sectors, technological and scientific, They move organizes the Innovatech Challenge, a 100% female competition dedicated to entrepreneurship and the industry of the future.
Created in 2016 by Ellesmoving, in partnership with the General Directorate of Enterprises, the Innovatech Challenge is a national event dedicated to the industry of the future and digital entrepreneurship, two levers for women’s economic emancipation. This 100% female competition brings together high school girls, students and sponsors of the association in 13 regions of France. Sustainable city, transport of tomorrow, medicine of the future, cybersecurity, school of tomorrow, were the themes of the 2022 challenge. The event took place on March 2 in Réunion. He brought together high school girls at Edmond Albius du Port College, students and sponsors of the association, industry professionals, around a creative and immersive hackathon during which they worked on high-tech projects. The day was organized by teams (each team comprising two high school girls, two students and two godmothers ) and took place in three stages. The hackathon : five hours of reflection on the theme of the industry of the future. The pitch : the presentation of the project in 10 minutes to the members of the jury. The regional winner : the winning team of this first stage will participate in the national final.
A day in the life of an engineer
“They are moving, mobilizing for parity and professional diversity, and commits throughout the year to take action against the underrepresentation of women in technology and entrepreneurship. In close collaboration with its institutional partners, corporate and higher education, our association of general interest allows significant changes against all stereotypes” specifies Amel Kefif, general director of Elles Bougent, for which “access of young girls to training, then to careers of the future in the engineering sector, technology and industry are one of the sine qua non conditions for equal pay and professional diversity. » Since the first edition in 2016, more than 1,200 candidates have already taken part in this adventure which allows high school girls and students to immerse themselves, for a day, in the life of an engineer.
“To your health ! » : the winning local project
The winning team’s project focuses on the medicine of the future. The team was called “the doctors”. Goal : accompany and support patients and those around them. The initial observation is the lack of support in the different stages of the disease. The winning project imagined a website and an application. The principle : a registration to the site or app with a questionnaire to then be able to direct the user to information from the medical profession, connecting with other patients, accessibility to personal services, a medical appointment reminder calendar, or information on financial aid, and administrative procedures… Name of the project : “To your health ! »
