Incubator created in Reunion in 2016, Seeds supported around a hundred project leaders in the region and helped raise nearly 10 million euros in financing. Unitec is one of the main support structures for start-ups in the Bordeaux region. It contributed to the creation of 630 start-ups in its territory. With a team of 12 start-up managers, Unitec advises project leaders in the three digital sectors, life sciences and engineering sciences. She supports them from the idea to the creation of the business, then in the structuring, its development and strategic growth, until its move to the next level via the Up Grade Nouvelle-Aquitaine accelerator. Seeds and Unitec have signed a partnership to pool certain skills and resources, as well as with the aim of creating bridges between the Reunion start-up ecosystem and that of New Aquitaine. This partnership materializes through the establishment of a first joint incubation program.
Eleven training sessions
This first program, which started on January 6, is made up of 11 training sessions, of which six will be provided by Unitec and five by the Seeds team. Training sessions take place on Fridays from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Seeds premises in Sainte-Marie. “This program must enable each leader to carry out their project successfully., from defining its value proposition to market research, through intellectual property or the basics of corporate finance. The sessions are supplemented by practical workshops and concrete exercises to be carried out each week. More than a classic incubation, this program allows project leaders to connect to the metropolitan start-up ecosystem and to exchange with other leaders working in France”, explains Léo Miniou-Montels, project support manager at Seeds. Please note that it is still possible to join the program which has just started this month of February..
