The testing phase of the first Reunion cable transport line has begun, for expected commissioning on December 20. 26 pylons spread over 2,7 km, 46 cabins with 10 seats rotating continuously from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. : the project will certainly be a showcase for its client, at Cinor, who entrusted its design and production to a group led by the world leader in cable transport, the French company Poma, Poma, associated with Sodiparc, and Engineering services Réunion, will operate the line which will be connected at several points to the Citalis bus network. The price will be the same as in buses and travelers will be able to continue their journey connecting between bus and cable car with the same ticket.
