On October 16, Cinor presented the progress of its Baobab public transport project (West airport bus-Bocage airport bus), 27 kilometers long between the Barachois of Saint-Denis and the French Quarter (Sainte-Suzanne).

The project must be completed by 2030, following several major development projects. Park-and-ride lots will be created to encourage motorists to take the bus, a bus station will be created, eventually, at the Lambert barracks. Baobab will have 14 kilometers of reserved bus lanes (including 10 to create), 49 intersections with bus priority and 54 stations served. Without waiting, from the beginning of 2025, two express shuttles will be created on line 31 of the Citalis network. They will only run during morning and evening rush hours and will connect Saint-Denis more directly and quickly towards the Chaudron mall via the Duparc site.. They will start from the center of Sainte-Marie and the French Quarter to take the RN2 and its regional public transport route.
