After several years of testing and research, the Source Origine Laboratory has developed Repulstick, a new generation nomadic self-broadcaster, with natural active ingredients, which protects against Aédès mosquitoes and ticks. Tiger mosquitoes can bite at any time of the day or night throughout the year, and their bite is more painful than that of other mosquitoes. In mainland France too, become “urban mosquitoes”, these insects now move by train, by car and even by metro. As for ticks, until today, no nomadic and preventive solution existed, while Lyme disease develops a little more each year. Principe de Repulstick ? Thanks to a patented process which allows the fusion of polymers and essential oils, including lemon eucalyptus and geraniol, recognized for their anti-insect and anti-parasitic activities, self-diffusing molded parts are obtained. These parts are activated as soon as they come into contact with oxygen when the bag is opened., for slow and regular diffusion. To promote residual diffusion, essential oils have been selected to reduce their volatility. Based on 100% ecological and natural active ingredients, Repulstick is precisely composed of polymers based on lemon eucalyptus essential oils, lavandin, pennyroyal mint, natural geraniol and tea tree. The choice fell on plants which have learned to defend themselves naturally, by diffusing molecules that keep pests away. The fusion of essential oils and polymers is carried out using a process that allows the two elements to form a single compact part : the repellent tablet.
360 hours of effectiveness
The jewelry holder is worn on the wrist or ankle or can simply be near the person to be protected. It is therefore possible to take Repulstick everywhere, to practice sports, including swimming, in complete tranquility. Concretely, the tablet comes out of its packaging and pushes into the metal slide. Its shape is designed to be easy to use and maintain. Another practical aspect : once the usage time is over, simply put the device back in its original bag to stop the diffusion.
