After a period of reorganization and fundraising carried out in May under the direction of César Augier, its new CEO, the company has relaunched production of its range of five plant-based cheese substitutes in its Oise factory.

Jay's e-commerce&Joy for its individual customers has resumed in France, Switzerland and Germany in July. In the month of August, Jay&Joy celebrated its return in numerous boutiques and brands in France, as well as in Germany, Italy, Belgium and Holland. Cheese lovers attracted by the plant-based transition will also be able to find its range in all Biocoop stores and at Naturalia... Jay's new team&Joy worked tirelessly to relaunch production while reorganizing its distribution strategy under the leadership of its new manager César Augier. The company thus reconnects with its predominant position in Europe by announcing the resumption of the distribution of its products in the majority of French brands., notably through the distributors Relais Vert and Vitafrais. “We are very grateful to our historical partners, such as Biocoop, Naturalia, Relais Vert and Vitafrais, for their renewed confidence in our products and our recovery strategy”, declares César Augier, Jay's new leader&Joy, at the helm of the company since June.

Jay's cheese platter&Joy
The Jay range&Joy stands out for its use of traditional cheesemaking techniques, transmitted by master cheesemakers and refiners. The Josephine, substitute for brie : a plant-based version of the French table reference which offers a soft heart with woody and slightly fruity flavors. The Jil, goat cheese substitute : the essential log with a country touch and slightly spicy notes. The Jeanne, substitute for blue : the iconic vegetable blue cheese with blue cheese, creamy and melting. The Jean-Jacques, substitute for maroilles : a washed red-orange rind with a creamy center with spicy touches. Finally the Joy Râpé, the plant-based ally of all everyday dishes.

POORLY CONTROLLED GROWTH
Jay&Joy was created in 2014. Transposing traditional cheesemaking techniques, Jay & Joy has developed know-how with stunning results. These specialties are certified organic, with a short list of natural ingredients. Success was quick, in France and Europe. More, victim of faulty quality control, the manufacturer had to cease production and was placed in receivership in March 2023 after a serious quality problem that occurred in January (five severe cases of listeriosis). The company was bought by a group of investors and is now starting a new start.
