The telecommunications operator Zeop announced on October 12 a series of initiatives aimed at digital sobriety.

Zeop has notably integrated the Nokia G22 into its product range, smartphone with a shell made from recycled plastic, easily repairable and built to last. The operator has also strengthened its partnership with the Agame association with the aim of creating a mobile reconditioning sector in Reunion Island., to give a second life to mobile phones while promoting the creation of local jobs and encouraging responsible reuse. Zeop therefore offers in its Ermitage store to collect devices that are no longer used., in order to give them a second life if possible, or recover usable spare parts. This initiative will be extended to ten points of sale on the island. That of the Ermitage will host interactive workshops focused on the digital transformation of local businesses, where the latest technological advances will be promoted while encouraging responsible and efficient use of digital resources.
