Created last June, the corporate foundation of the energy company Albioma has started to communicate with overseas associative networks to detect and support projects for the preservation of biodiversity and professional integration.
Six partnerships have already been established, including two in Reunion. The Foundation thus supports the Center for the Study and Discovery of Marine Turtles by financing the training of 18 agents involved in the program to rehabilitate turtle nesting beaches.. The objective is twofold : train people on professional integration contracts so that they acquire the basics of the profession of natural area maintenance agent and restore the beaches of Reunion to allow sea turtles to return to lay their eggs there. In Saint-Pierre and Saint-Louis, the Albioma Foundation also supports the Auteuil Indian Ocean Apprentices through the Youth Impact program. This program aims to identify, in the places where they meet (building lobby, neighborhood, etc.), young people nor in employment, nor in study, nor in training and to support them in all stages of their professional integration journey.
