Shenaz Bagot was elected president of the supervisory board of the large seaport of Reunion, unanimously, last June 15. The business manager succeeds Olivier Hoarau, mayor of the Port, who had held this position since March 2015 and was re-elected in 2020. During this same session, Emmanuel Séraphin, Mayor of Saint-Paul and President of the West Side Territory, was elected vice president. Shenaz Bagot sits on the supervisory board in the college of qualified personalities. Recognized for its involvement in social integration, she has to her credit the creation of the Second Chance School, of which she was the first president, or the Fond’ker Foundation which supports solidarity initiatives. She has also been the council's CSR referent since 2021.. Among his first decisions, the new council validated the pricing guidelines for 2024. A price increase has been decided, “because the public establishment must preserve its investment capacity to serve the ambitions of its next strategic project which will cover the period 2024-2028”.
