From school benches to vineyards, Anthony Aubert and Jean-Charles Mathieu took on the challenge in 2018 of creating wines in their image in their native region, Languedoc Roussillon.
The Aubert trading house & Mathieu's ambition is to shake up the vines with modern and original wines. Commitment from vine to bottle with organic or conversion vintages, 100% eco-designed and recyclable packaging : the two founders also have fun sweeping away the traditional codes of the world of wine with labels with a universe as quirky as it is colorful. So the last born, Rosé Palooza 2021, which owes its aromatic richness to the clay-limestone terroir on which the vines grow and to the Mediterranean climate of the region. Sun-drenched, the grapes are harvested at nightfall to preserve all their freshness before being macerated for six hours, under strict temperature control. During this period of time, Grenache releases all its character and reveals a most delicate color. A beautiful light peach pink, even slightly salmony, this vintage opens with a very expressive nose where notes of red fruits intermingle (raspberry and morello cherry), stone fruit and citrus. In mouth, this rosé delivers freshness highlighted by its fruity notes.
