Something new in the catering department. A new player in the ready-to-consume market, Nomade Kitchen offers a unique range of salads from around the world. Adopting a position healthy at affordable prices in line with current expectations, the brand launches its first range of twelve salads for supermarkets, but also CHR, snacking and events. Looking for commercial and logistics partners, Nomade Kitchen has just joined the Village by CA, opening a new page of this project started in 2021 after the return to Reunion Island of Marc Dawson, whose wife is from Reunion. Citizen of the world through his English ancestry, French and Italian, this human resources professional has supported the installation and development of some of the largest international and French companies in Asia (China 18 years old) and the Middle East (Dubai 7 years). The time has come to slow down, this entrepreneur at heart finds a way to express the quintessence of so many influences in his recipes : “Passionate about cooking, I like to please, and I am a great sportsman like many people from Reunion. In my opinion, eating healthy and balanced must rhyme with indulgence and nutritional quality. However, the local catering offer is not only limited, but not really health nutrition oriented, while this is the demand today. I want Reunion consumers to appreciate what a real mixed salad is., namely a healthy meal, complete and balanced – ultra fresh – without preservatives. I want to discover this art of blending fresh food and spices which defines the cuisines of many countries and which goes well with the Creole spirit and the flavors of Reunion. »
First launch in supermarkets
For the production of mixed salads, Nomade Kitchen is associated with Starus, the central kitchen of the SERR group. Marketed in trays under atmosphere, the Nomade Kitchen range had its first test launch in supermarkets in the catering sections of the E.Leclerc hypermarkets in La Réserve and Le Portail. A launch accompanied in store by Marc Dawson himself who, for two months, developed customer relations. Experience shows that the results quickly become remarkable when the implementation of the products corresponds to their qualitative positioning..
