Picard Réunion ends the year in style on all fronts. The 2023 Christmas collection, ever more gourmet and refined, was unveiled in a festive atmosphere which this year coincides with the 50th anniversary of the brand.
Every year, the presentation of Christmas products is, for the president of Picard Réunion, Bruno Guillemot, the opportunity for an overview of the year. This meeting was held in 2023 under the sign of the 12, perfect number, symbol of harmony. Twelve, this is in fact the number of Reunion Picard stores, after the opening of the Sainte-Suzanne point of sale in June. These are the twelve store managers who described and chaired the tasting, in preview, a selection of twelve Christmas starters and twelve desserts. An unveiling in the presence of Philippe Maitre, commercial director of Picard, and Yvan Audiou, responsible for the brand's French and Overseas Territories franchisees. The brand's two national executives recalled the importance of the Christmas period, which represents 23% of the turnover of the brand's 1,100 stores (1,7 billion euros in 2022) and where a third of innovations (70 this year) are launched. Picard Réunion also saw, in 2023, the redesign of its site to facilitate orders and home deliveries, and the Picard loyalty program and to achieve its full appeal in terms of services and benefits. Finally, the Picard sign, whose first store was created in Paris, celebrated its 50th anniversary this year.

FIR ORCHESTRAS
Between the block of duck foie gras and the fig jelly, these eight musical trees compose an ode to gluttony and Christmas traditions. But the musical trees in a vegan version sweetened with chestnuts and mirabelle plum jelly also have something to thrill them too..
A DELICIOUS DIRTY PAIRING
The riches of the sea and the earth brought together : poached shrimp with spices, risotto verde and morel espuma, scallop medallion, Jerusalem artichoke espuma with truffle, marbled poultry, chestnut cream, chanterelles.
THE LITTLE CHRISTMAS DRUMS
Eight in number, in chocolate mousse, crispy and chocolate praline, they compose the chorus of sweets.
THE CHOCOLATE CHOIR
A joyful choir that will be applauded. While a cocoa brownie and its nuggets take on chocolate notes in unison, the hearts of the musicians and singers beat to the rhythm of chocolate ice cream, vanilla ice cream and salted butter caramel sauce.
GLAZED LOGS MAKE THEIR RANGES
Chocolate log. Orchard fruits : pear log, apple, Honey. Multifruits : red fruit log, pear, apple. Rock-style three-chocolate log. Lemon raspberry pastry log. The enchanted winter, to musicians in the shape of snowmen, a mixture of vanilla mascarpone cream, chocolate ganache, hazelnut sauce, and a crunchy almond-chocolate.
STAR ENTRIES
Starring this crunchy honey and spice cookie, where a compote of apples and raspberries is hidden, topped with blocks of hand-poached foie gras. Whole currants and a mixture of seeds sprinkle the composition for a colorful final note. Another classic theme, crispy and soft puff pastry stars garnished with a stringy heart of Emmental and mozzarella.
