Mondelēz, the unsung guest of our snacks and aperitifs

Snacking includes two almost sacred cultural moments in France : snack and aperitif. It is mainly to meet the needs of these two moments of sharing that the Mondelēz group and its Reunion subsidiary Mondelēz France Océan Allemand are dedicated.. Number one biscuit with, especially, the LU and Oreo brands, leading player in the chocolate market with Milka : it would be wrong to limit the presentations to these giant performances. Car Mondelēz, it is also a local approach and, in the meeting, an SME : Mondelēz France Indian Ocean, heir in 2012 to a commercial activity which began thirty years ago under the name Danone International Brand (BACK). To celebrate this local anchoring of an international group, and to give a more precise vision, we asked Simon Forster, director of Mondelēz France Indian Ocean, to be our guest of this back-to-school issue

Like all businesses, whatever their size, the global Mondelēz group is changing. It now makes sustainable development a strategic pillar. All Mondelēz brand biscuits and chocolates, that we consume and that our children consume,are affected by this change which is expressed in particular via the Cocoa Life and LU Harmony logos, which appear on their packaging. I'll let you discover what they mean, with lots of other interesting information illustrating the local to international link implemented by Mondelēz France Indian Ocean. The Pomme de Pain brand celebrated, she, last June, ten years in Reunion. This great franchise is another form of successful relationship between a local company and a national company : it seemed instructive to us to describe it.
