The shipping company Mer Union, which connects the Indian Ocean to the metropolis directly, has developed with the transport of construction equipment and materials necessary for major works, starting with those of the Tamarins route in the 2000s and today those of the new Littoral route. Next April 23, a third ship chartered by Mer Union will leave the port of Pointe des Galets with, on board, hazardous waste from Mayotte and Reunion to take it to Le Havre
