Iberojet opens Madrid-Mauritius line
Plaisance airport welcomed the first landing of the Spanish company Iberojet on June 18. Since, Iberojet operates one flight per week between Madrid Adolfo Suárez Airport and Mauritius, with an Airbus A350-900. Around twenty companies currently serve the Mauritian airport, which could also see the arrival of the Indian low-cost company IndiGo at the end of the year. The ever-increasing opening of the Mauritian skies is beginning to attract criticism, because of the competition it generates for the national company, especially since Air Mauritius has encountered significant operational difficulties in recent months.
