On May 4, the University of Reunion presented its 41 student-entrepreneurs. That day, they signed a commitment charter which gives them access to specific one-semester training courses., in addition to those of their basic curriculum, and support for entrepreneurship by teachers and professionals. They are followed by the Student Center for Innovation and Transfer and Entrepreneurship (Pepper) from the university. The two formations, which started on May 7, lead to a University Diploma : DU Introduction to Entrepreneurship and DU Entrepreneurship. The first is aimed at students who have everything to learn about business creation and takeover, the second targets those who already have a well-defined project to create or take over an activity. “Within these two formations, the lessons will be carried out by academics and professionals offering an active pedagogy of the learning by doing type : lessons are put at the service of projects”, details the university. Student entrepreneurs also have access to professional mentoring, to a coworking space, spaces for exchange with players in the entrepreneurship ecosystem as well as competitions and innovation challenges.
