The Window, which “teleports” people to a chosen location, partners with Fosfor, specialist in personalized “phygital”* innovation solutions , to offer a disturbing customer experience enriched by a greater feeling of presence thanks to holographic technology.
Particularly suitable for retail, holoportation allows for a unique real and virtual shopping experience. Its two designers, la Vitre and Fosfor, immerse the visitor in a new kind of experience. The glass on screen already allows a real feeling of presence to discover a product or communicate with an interlocutor, but with the Crystalman, device designed by Fosfor, the feeling is even more striking : the Crystalman allows human and virtual interaction in 3D at real size. Thanks to holographic projection, the customer has the possibility of discussing face-to-face with a remote expert. The options integrated by the Glass allow you to write on the Crystalman screen, to share documents, catalogs and other multimedia content from a computer, a tablet or phone, but also to act as a translation through subtitles. This opens the way to new uses such as personalization of the desired product or even live purchasing..
Abolishing the boundary between virtual and real
On the other hand, Crystalman’s experience can be applied to other sectors, like culture, events or even transport and industry. for example, we can multiply the impact of event operations in public places or professional events. Or revolutionize the design of store windows by teleporting experts to energize points of sale. The solution still allows us to rethink interaction in museums or in plenary meetings... For Cédric Besacier, co-founder of Fosfor, “the collaboration with La Vitre has allowed us to offer a brand new communication device with immersive interaction possibilities, natural exchanges without latency and live content sharing. Ensemble, we give a new dimension to customer experiences”. “La Vitre and Fosfor abolish the border between the virtual and the real ! It is now possible to speak with an expert, interact with colleagues or buy a new personalized pair of shoes, in the most natural relationship possible whatever the distance”, considers Romuald Boulanger, co-founder of La Vitre.
150 active windows worldwide
“La Vitre offers to bring together the right people in the right place, wherever they are, to just be together. The exchange is totally immersive thanks to the excellent video and sound quality., the elimination of external noise pollution and instant translation into more than 60 languages », explains Romuald Boulanger. Used for teamwork, les speakers, reception, Training, events, the retail, La Vitre is already used by more than thirty companies, dont Natixis, Accenture, Dry, Bouygues Construction, Capgemini, Enedis, Corbion, Engie, Career Cellars, etc. More than 150 Windows are active around the world.
