Takeaway coffee player in France (more than 20 million cups sold in 2022), Paul bakeries offer to extend this tasting at home by launching their first collection of capsules.
“Offering our customers to taste our coffees at home is a source of pride”, declares Maxime Holder, general manager of Paul. It’s on the occasion of International Coffee Day, October 1st, that this first collection of Paul capsules was unveiled. Paul imagined a collection around three recipes with a gourmet profile : a smooth and balanced 100% Arabica espresso to enjoy throughout the day, a ristretto for the end of a meal thanks to the character and intensity brought by a touch of robusta, and a fruity 100% Arabica decaf to enjoy until dinner. Paul Espresso capsules, Ristretto and Decaffeinated are compatible with Nespresso machines.
Biosourced capsules
Faithful to its commitment to serving responsible coffee in its 400 Paul et Paul Le Café in France, the brand has chosen fairly sourced raw materials for this innovation. Two of the references are already Rain Forest Alliance certified, label that defends sustainable agriculture, respectful of biodiversity and generating progress for local producers. These are coffees roasted in France. Their packaging, starting with the capsules themselves, are composed of more than 80% biosourced materials (corn starch) and compostable (even at home) after use. Which makes Paul's general manager say : “These are responsible cafes, consistent with Paul's values. »
