“The year 2021 is a turning point conducive to renewal. The health crisis has disrupted international trade by also accentuating changes. The Club Export Réunion sees several opportunities to accelerate the internationalization of Reunion companies, in the islands of the area, but also African countries ». This is the conviction of the association which has been supporting companies in their international commercial development for over 20 years..
The Export Club plans, eventually, a resumption of international trade in a regional environment favorable to the export of goods and services and sets an ambitious objective : reach one billion euros generated by exports within five years, i.e. double the current turnover, notably thanks to the progression of the export of services. Fine May, the Club invited all candidates for the departmental and regional elections in June to “share its strong conviction of international openness at the heart of Reunion’s economic development strategy”. It notably proposes the creation of a center dedicated to the international, whose governance would be entrusted to the elected official responsible for economic development in the Region.
