Building on the success of its previous editions, the Great Exhibition of Made in France returns for its fourth edition, at the Élysée Palace in mid-October. Among the winners, a product from the Porto company specializing in non-collective sanitation works and products protecting the environment.
Initiated by the President of the Republic in 2020, and open to the public, this event highlights businesses, the craftsmen, the producers, manufacturers and associations engaged in a French manufacturing approach. Olivia Gregoire, then Minister Delegate in charge of Business, Tourism and Consumption, brought together the product selection jury on July 15. Companies of all types have been selected, dont PME (46 %), TPE (16 %), start-up (14 %), ETI (9 %), large companies (3 %), etc., as well as an association. Among the winning products is the anti-mosquito gutter collector designed and manufactured in Reunion by the Porto company Verleo Réunion, septic tank manufacturer, cisterns, compost bins.
The regional identity of know-how
For Olivia Grégoire, “we often talk about our cultural heritage, culinary or even the richness of our landscapes, and rightly, but we are lucky to be able to count, In France, on an immense entrepreneurial heritage and know-how, sometimes centuries old. This heritage, it is also the identity of our regions and departments, it keeps our local economy alive and promotes France throughout the world. This exhibition is an opportunity to strengthen the visibility of French know-how and to promote the hard work of our entrepreneurs. »
