Papang cable car takes flight

The cable car line linking Chaudron to Bois-de-Nèfles, in Saint-Denis, entered service on March 15. Its inauguration was the subject of wide communication, aimed above all at combating the potential apprehension of the Dionysians about traveling “in the air”, locked in a frail cabin. All precautions have been taken to secure the infrastructure, called “Papang”. Validation of procedures to be applied in the event of an incident, or worse, also delayed its opening by almost three months. The power outage on March 23, after a violent storm, came to remind us that we can never be too careful in this matter !
