On the occasion of 10 years of AOC recognition, the Syndicat de Défense et de Promotion du Kirch de Fougerolles launches a new product : le Schrick, a liqueur made from Fougerolles AOC kirch, ready to conquer a new generation of consumers.
The Syndicat de Défense et de Promotion du Kirch de Fougerolles is made up of all the players in the Kirsch sector, from cherry producers to distillers and distillers who work to safeguard ancestral know-how. Marking the unity of the entire sector, it was decided that this liqueur would be marketed under a common brand owned by the Union, a first in its history : Schrik is the standard bearer of the AOC revival. Same name, the same logo and precise specifications for the entire sector. The new liqueur comes from discussions at tasting workshops during which AOC kirsch was sprayed on quid toast. (local white cheese), a completely traditional consumption of kirsch in the Vosges Saônoises. It is also the perfect anagram of kirsch. The original logo represents the root, sign of the anchoring of this liqueur both in its terroir and in the history of Fougerolles kirsch ; its naturalness and traceability. In order to protect this new specialty, strict specifications allow each of the players to develop it with their own know-how, just like the AOC Kirsch de Fougerolles, and while maintaining the level of organoleptic quality.
