By inaugurating the Oasis Garden, a new landscaped space of 6,000 m2 in the shape of an amphitheater, the mayor of the Port, Olivier Hoarau, recalled on March 15 the ambition of his municipality for this district of the city.
Located between the heart of the historic city, the Ocean Mall and the new exchange hub, the Oasis triangle project will combine several components over more than 5 hectares. A tertiary center dedicated to hosting offices and services will be adjacent to an accommodation center, a professional training center and a higher education center, in connection with already existing institutions (School of Fine Arts, School of Architecture, Auteuil Apprentice campus, EXCELLENCE). The Oasis triangle project is supported by the city of Port and Sedre. It is supported by the State's economic recovery plan to the tune of 200,000 euros and by a loan from the French Development Agency for a total amount of 3,5 million euros. A call for projects will be launched for training and tertiary professionals. It concerns the transfer of two plots of land, with a view to building the establishment which will accommodate training organizations and associated services.
