The mayor of Saint-Denis, Ericka Bareigts, wanted to promote this system by signing around ten loans in person at the beginning of July. The granting conditions are simple : have lived in Saint-Denis for at least six months, be unemployed and registered with Pôle Emploi, benefit from social minimums, present a professional activity project. Reimbursement is spread over twelve to twenty-four months. In view of the first results, the city of Saint-Denis wishes to add volume to this system. A CBD vaping store will see the light of day, opened by a young man in his thirties who had interrupted his studies at college and resumed them in recent years until obtaining a computer science degree. A 70-year-old jeweler bought a machine allowing him to fulfill orders from jewelry stores. A delivery man was able to acquire the electric cargo bike which opens up the Hauts territory to him. A masseuse at home was able to equip herself. The salad bar at the Sainte-Clotilde ecobox is now equipped with a refrigerator. A beautician will be able to set up shop in one of Brittany’s ecoboxes. A chef with impressive metropolitan credentials, recently returned to Reunion, will be able to start as a private chef at home, etc. So many examples of the benefit of this Dionysian helping hand to project leaders lacking resources.
