Moment of joy and pride, March 18, during the Ulysse 2024 prize award ceremony at the premises of the Automobile Club de France, in Paris. Under the patronage of Bruno Le Maire, Minister of Economy and Finance, the Caillé group was awarded by the Association for the Turnaround of Businesses (ARE) the prestigious prize for the 2024 edition.
The Ulysses Prize, of which it was the fourteenth edition, had a full house when this award was presented to the Caillé group for the spectacular recovery accomplished during its safeguard period and for the new impetus given to the activity. Accompanied by Nelly Darouèche, general director, Laurence Gamba, financial director, et Delphine Talbot, director of management control, François Caillé knew how to highlight Reunion in a speech very applauded by the present assembly. The Caillé group thus becomes the first overseas company to be distinguished. A victory that the Caillé group wishes to share with the many Reunion Islanders who mobilized massively to win this magnificent award. The Reunion family group specializing in automobiles and mass distribution obtained this prize ahead of two other finalists, the groups Lise Charmel and Provence Location.
A prize of excellence
Born in 2002, The Association for Business Turnaround has set itself the goal of bringing together all professionals (lawyers, accounting experts, advisors, ad hoc agents, bankers, investment funds, crisis managers, etc.) regularly involved in turnaround operations, refinancing or restructuring of companies. Every year since 2011, the AER awards the Ulysse prize, which rewards the best business turnaround of the past year.
