The KKR investment fund now holds 92,19% of the capital of Albioma, following the friendly public call for tenders opened at the end of June and successfully concluded in September. The French energy company’s stock prices have been suspended. The American fund is committed to supporting the development of Albioma in the valorization of biomass and photovoltaic electricity production. In the meeting, KKR has been established for thirty years and the group is currently preparing the conversion to solid biomass (wooden logs) of its two power plants at Bois-Rouge and Gol. Bpifrance, which owns 5% of Albioma, committed to continuing to invest in the business alongside KKR.
