The fixed price quality shield until February 2023

The “price-quality shield” version 2022 was presented on March 16 : it contains 153 products whose overall price cannot exceed 348 euros, from March 28, 2022 until February 28, 2023, in the 63 stores on the island participating in the operation. The list expanded last year to 153 products has been extended, with some adjustments to take into account supply difficulties. Sanitary products to protect against dengue and coronavirus epidemics, added in 2021, were also maintained. Due to the disruption of sea freight and the increase in certain raw materials linked to the war in Ukraine, a review clause and a termination clause were introduced into the moderation agreement signed on March 16. The review clause is set at two months after the effective implementation of the BQP in stores. The termination clause commits the signatories to providing the Deets controllers with a table of dated orders for the BQP products. All major retail brands offer BQP products. 9 local businesses from the Bout’iks network are also participating in the operation and offering 42 products registered with the BQP for a total price of 98,45 euros. Likewise, the partnership initiated in 2021 with the Leclerc brand for the establishment of a “péi basket” composed of 5 fresh products including 3 local has been renewed.
