If the year 2023 brings uncertainty because of the impact of inflation on economic activity, it is also a bearer of hope and perspective. The dynamic of previous years does not decline. We can even say that it is increasing, like the projects that, at the start of the year, put Réunion at the forefront of innovation. Commercial innovation first with the Ilôt Surgelé brand, which is launching an organic frozen food offering on the Reunion market, vegan, gluten free or lactose free, with a new specific brand ! This first in Reunion is almost as much a national one : the first store in Reunion dedicated to organic frozen foods, of which Ilôt Surgelé announces the opening before the end of the first half, will be the second of its kind in France ! Christophe Aigueperse, architect of the development of the brand created twenty years ago, explains this project and the meaning of this new commitment to us.
Ilôt Surgelé could not have celebrated this wonderful anniversary better ! Innovation is then in three surprising projects affecting cosmetics, which are developing on our island. Placing Réunion at the forefront, they confirm what I said in my previous editorial from February : The Cosmetics Meeting is well into the challenge ! I leave you the surprise of this discovery. The desire to undertake is stronger than ever : this is also why we are devoting this year our Franchise file, no to the report of the Franchise expo Paris show which is being held this month, but on his program with, especially, promoting low-budget franchises. I finally draw your attention, in Reunion news, on the interview that the new general director of BNP Paribas Réunion, Issa Imran, granted us regarding the implementation in Reunion of the bank's strategic plan, including a landmark sustainable finance initiative.
