Crédit Agricole de La Réunion, the Réunion Island Tourism Club and Léon Guide announced at the end of April a one-year partnership to promote culture and tourism thanks to the mobile application which allows you to discover the history and heritage of Reunion Island. Significant recognition for this unique concept with strong potential imagined by the Reunion start-up Léon.
Developed and produced in Reunion, the Léon Guide application is available free of charge from download stores. The Léon Guide cultural and tourist mobile application promotes the cultural wealth of Reunion Island in a practical and original way. There are no less than 60 points of interest (protected sites, historical monuments, museums, gardens, villages, Creole art of living, intangible heritage) which are referenced there and more than 200 podcasts which tell the richness of the tangible and intangible heritage of the island. Thanks to the voice that tells, Léon brings the memory of the walls to life, of nature, inhabitants of the territory. Listening to the plural sounds of Reunion Island, the public is invited on an immersive journey. Highly appreciated by its users, the Léon Guide application thus contributes to the tourist attractiveness of the region.
The Tourism Club : around a hundred members
Actor in local economic development for over thirteen years, The Reunion Island Tourism Club brings together Reunion Island business leaders from different sectors of tourism activity. This association has set itself the mission of creating a network of companies (around 100 members to date) which becomes a real platform for exchanges between professionals in order to represent a force of proposals among local tourism stakeholders and to implement actions for the development of tourism. The strength of the Tourism Club is to bring together private actors working in different branches of tourism and representing businesses of all sizes anchored throughout the territory..
Crédit Agricole alongside local projects
We no longer present the Crédit Agricole Mutuel de La Réunion, whose cooperative and mutual bank model makes it a committed player in supporting local associations by offering them solidarity support systems adapted to their needs. “Values guided by awareness of the challenges that mark the territories”, underlines the bank which wishes to “build a global and lasting relationship with local associations and its customers, guaranteeing them personalized support”. Crédit Agricole de La Réunion is also a player in innovation with the Village by CA, which supports start-ups in their first phase of growth, and in particular start-ups engaged in solidarity initiatives such as Léon. It is this recognition from the world of tourism professionals and green banking that Léon Guide and his promoters receive., Anaelle Pony and Fabrice Manson.
