Air Safety Meeting (RAS) celebrates its twenty-five years of activity this year. Founded in 1999, RAS embodies the success of a Reunion company anchored in the local economic fabric. Employing more than 550 people in Reunion, it has established itself as a major player in private security.
Air Safety Meeting (RAS) specializes in safety and security, particularly in the dog technical teams in research and detection of explosives and in the management of major infrastructures such as Roland-Garros airport and other classified sites. Its security and safety services are now recognized for their rigor, their reliability and their ability to meet the modern challenges of protecting property and people. “Our success is based above all on the work of our teams, made up of highly qualified local professionals. In twenty-five years, we have managed to build a company that, not only, protects infrastructure and citizens, but which also contributes to local social and economic dynamics. RAS' ability to recruit and train Reunion staff reflects our desire to actively participate in the island's economy.", underlines Jean-François Moutoussamy, general director of RAS.
RAS celebrates its 15th anniversary
RAS is Afnor certified and committed to a corporate social responsibility approach. This dynamic of success is also based on the strong synergy between RAS and its training partner., Meeting Learning Training (RAF), who is also celebrating a birthday this year : 15 ans. Ensemble, these two entities have built a collaboration to create and nourish a virtuous circle between training and employment. In 15 years, RAF has trained more than 12,000 people, individuals and professionals in these three centers of Bras-Panon, Sainte-Clotilde and Saint-Louis. Mainly in security professions, safety and risk prevention, but also in airport services.
A win-win link
On the one hand, RAF trains highly qualified professionals. On the other, RAS offers them professional opportunities. It is thanks to this synergy that RAS was able to hire more than 550 local employees, mainly from training offered by RAF, thus ensuring this continuity between training and employment. For Yohan Ravet, director of RAF, “We are contributing together to the future of the island by offering Reunion Islanders both the training and employment opportunities they need to succeed”.
