The Region contests the State's plan to sell the land occupied by the Lux hotel to the Mauritian group IBL, in La Saline les Bains.
In a motion voted on September 6, she considers that this sale of the public maritime domain constitutes an “act of extreme seriousness”, on the grounds that it leads to the transfer of full ownership of a hotel complex located on a strategic location to interests outside our island, “without other options being studied allowing Reunion investors to position themselves”. The Region requests that legal expertise be engaged.
